WILLIE LEE SPANN

Willie Lee Spann Jr. , known to family and friends as “Jr.” was born on November 7, 1952 to the late Willie Lee Spann Sr. and Arlena Wilson Spann.
On Saturday, December 19, 2020 Willie transitioned from this life to eternal rest at Boston Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. In addition to his parents, Willie was preceded in death by his son Curtis Raper and sister Novella Spann. Willie attended church regularly and accepted Christ in his life. He believed  “There are ups and there are downs but there’s no way without Jesus. “ Willie worked several jobs which include a mechanic, painter, construction and even worked at Boston Medical. Willie was known very well for his drawings and paintings. Painting was his passion and this was something he shared with his grandchildren. He was a very independent and driven individual and he loved making friends everywhere he went. He leaves to cherish his memories 5 brothers; David Spann, James Spann, Quintin Spann,  Donald Spann, and Gary Spann. 5 children; Tiffany Spann, Curtis Raper(deceased)Vanessa Cummings, Jayson Stackhouse,(deceased) Lashanna Spann.
5 grandchildren and a host of niece, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives.
