Sister Joan Rita Anne Jennings O.CARM  went home to the lord in her 54 th year of religious life on July 15, 2021.A prayerful, quiet and gentle Carmelite Sister for the Aged and Infirmed. Serving at the Marian Manor, South Boston for the last 24 years. Beloved Daughter of the late Robena and Ramsen Jennings. Dear Sister of Mary Bettencourt and 8 late Brothers and Sisters. Also survived by several Nieces and Nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday in St. Monica's Church 331 Old Colony Ave. South Boston at 11 AM. Visitation at the Church from 9 - 10:45 AM.
