Curley, Patricia Ellen of Dorchester passed away suddenly on October 10, 2024. Known to most as Pat or
Mrs. C. Loving daughter to the late Herbert and Ellen (Helen) Atkins. Survived by her daughter, Debra A.
McArdle and her husband, Shawn McArdle, her late sons, James and John Curley, son and caretaker,
Michael Curley, and her youngest daughter, Kathleen Curley. Brothers William Atkins and wife Chris
Atkins and her late brother Edward “Buddy” Atkins. A doting Nana to her grandchildren, Michael and
Stephen Nadeau, Megan O’Brien, and Michael, Marissa and Jonathan Curley. Proud great grandmother
(GG) to 14 grandchildren, Athena Kathleen, being the light the last years of her life. Loving aunt to the
late Jennifer Atkins, Melissa Davis and husband Randy Davis, and Ashley Pelton and husband Mike
Pelton. Lifelong friend to Claire McTavish. Known to most as Pat or Mrs. C, she was a proud Dorchester
native, and loved by anyone that she met. Pat was retired from the John Hancock, enjoyed traveling and
spending time with her family. Pat or Mrs. C was infamous for being the life of the party, a barrel of
laughs, and the glue that held her family together up until her last breath. She had an open-door policy
at her home in Dorchester and most of the neighborhood kids referred to her as Ma Curley. Please join
her one more time for a celebration of her long, meaningful life at Spencer’s Funeral Home 575 East Broadway South
