MARY THERESA De Giacomo

De Giacomo, Mary Theresa (Kelley), 84, of South Boston, died peacefully on September 2, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. Daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Jordan) Kelley. Beloved wife of Frank De Giacomo for 54 years.  Loving mother of Frank and his wife Teresa De Giacomo, M.D.s, of Norwell; Mary Maiullari and her husband Paul of South Boston; Jeanne Haran and her husband Walter of Braintree; and Thomas and his wife Christine De Giacomo of Stoneham. Also survived by her loving siblings and their spouses: Elizabeth and Emmet Smith of Somerville; Edward and Augusta Kelley of Shrewsbury; Frank and Patricia Kelley of South Boston; James and the late Kathleen Kelley of Weymouth; Eugene and Helena Kelley of Brookline; Thomas and Elizabeth Kelley of Norfolk, Margaret and William Plansky of Reading; Kathleen McCarthy of Quincy and Maureen and the late Joseph O’Malley of Roslindale.

Mary was the beloved grandmother of 16 grandchildren: Frank and Christopher De Giacomo of Norwell; Erin, Lauree, Tony, Paul, Mary Rose, Michael and Joey Maiullari of South Boston; Walter, Allyssa, Jordan, Matthew and Nicholas Haran of Braintree; and Grant and Alexis De Giacomo of Stoneham. Great grandmother of Ashley, Justin, and Aaron of Braintree. Mary touched many lives with her smile, encouragement, faith and caring. She was very much loved by her family, friends, neighbors and all that knew her.  She will be greatly missed. Funeral from the Wm. F. Spencer Funeral Home 575 E.Broadway (at H st.)
