Marilyn Sack McGinty from Duxbury MA. died peacefully on Nov. 1, 2013 following an acute illness. She was surrounded by her sisters. Marilyn loved autumn and this was her last season. Marilyn was a natural musician and loved playing the piano. She took pride in her special connection to animals, her ability to listen, her spiritual commitment to her faith and her skill at telling a good joke. For Marilyn, laughter was the best medicine, best greeting and best goodbye. She was well known for her jokes among family, friends, as well as the staff at restaurants and health clinics.
Marilyn was predeceased by her former husband, Gerry McGinty. Marilyn will be deeply missed (and honored) by her sisters Gerry Tyler (Rhode Island) Joanabbey Sack (Montreal) and Lynn Schenker (New Hampshire), and extended family and friends. Marilyn will not be forgotten. Donations can be made in her memory to the charity of your choice. Burial will be private.
