Jacquelyn Marie Prentis

Jacquelyn  “Jackie “ Donnell Prentis passed away on January 23, 2024.  After 93 blessed years she will be joining her husband Charles “Bud” in heaven.  Jackie leaves behind her children Peg, Mark, his wife Donna, Michael, his wife Tami, Chuck ,his wife Mary Ellen, and Stephen his wife Joanne. Grandchildren and their extended loved ones  Eric, Martine, Sean, Kayleigh, Lauren, Chris, Amanda, Connor, Nicholas, Rory, AJ, Liam and Allison.  Great Grandchildren Emma,John, Kayden , Madeline, Hunter, Wyatt ,Charlie, Brentley and Harper.  

  In heaven she will be welcomed by her loving daughter-in-law Kathy and grandson Jonathan.  

   She dedicated her life in raising her family as well as being the caregiver to many members of her family when in need.  

  South Boston is where she was born, raised and lived. She loved her community. Made many friends and enjoyed wonderful times in her town. She had a passion for playing dominos, social gatherings with her friends, and watching a good episode of Law and Order.  

  Her love, kindness and strength will be greatly missed and forever remembered. May her soul rest in peace.                                                                                                                                                      Visitation for Jackie will be on Sunday Jan. 28th from 2-6 PM in the Wm. F. Spencer Funeral Home 575 E. Broadway (at H st) South Boston. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree, MA.
