HANCY LAMOUR

Hancy Lamour, of Boston, MA passed away August 21, 2022.  Hancy was a loving Father, son, brother and friend.  Hancy was born in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti on August 4, 1966.  Hancy migrated to the United States at the age of 20 where he finished High School and continued his pursuit in higher education in Accounting at Quincy College and UMass Boston.

Hancy was dedicated to his education and would be considered a life learner in his constant pursuit to advance his thinking and love for politics both domestic and international.  His sense of purpose was fulfilled when his son Jonathan came into his life, and he did the best that he could with the help of his family to provide Jonathan with the best opportunity possible for him to become a contributing member of society.  Hancy will be remembered for his compassion, love of learning, helpfulness/support of others, passion for politics and sense of pride. 

Hancy is survived by his son, Jonathan Lamour, Mother, Madeline Lamour, Nine (9) brothers and sisters, Jowel and his wife Marie Ange , Neslie , Ann Marie, Bourmy and his wife Maviard, Katia, Magalie, Sedric, Carmelle, and Emmanuel Lamour and his wife Yeshi.  Hancy was also blessed with 13 nieces and nephews, Lisa, Madjany, Miochy, Sachie, Jessica, Alexandria, Jowelene, Malik, Jamzy, Mayah, Adriana, Amilliana and Emmanuel Rory Lamour.

 

Funeral Mass to be held at Boston’s Basilica of our Lady of Perpetual Help Saturday September 3^rd at 10:00 am. Burial immediately following Mass at Forest Hills Cemetery, Jamaica Plain. www.spencerfuneralservice.com
