Elaine D. Bousquet

Elaine D. Bousquet (Auger), 85, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2023, at the University of Massachusetts, with Jack and Jill by her side.

She leaves her children, John (Jack) and his wife Nancy of Wale; Jill Carter and her husband Robert of Oxford. A daughter-in-law Janne Jalbert of Southbridge. 9 Grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was everyone's Meme.

She was predeceased by her parents Napolean and Rita (Auger) Prunier; brothers Norman, Ronald Francis, and Paul Prunier.

Predeceased her loving husband Chandler J. Bousquet, daughter Gayle Speight, son Gary, and stepson Chandler.

Elaine was a hairdresser for over 60 years. She owned and operated snip N' Curl of Millbury out of her home. Other than spending time with family and friends, her love was making her customers feel beautiful or handsome. She finally retired at the age of 84.

There will be no services at this time as per her wishes, because Elaine chose to donate her body to research at UMass Chan Medical School, Worcester, MA. She felt very strongly about this and said the doctors and students would learn a lot from her body. She was such a strong and loving person. She would always say 'You need to have faith, family, and friends in your life.'
