Catherine R. Farren

Catherine (Vadala) Farren of South Boston passed away on February 7, 2024. She was married to Thomas J. Farren for 50 years before his passing in 2002. Catherine leaves behind her children, Deborah (Hogan) and her husband Richard, Catherine (LaMonica) her late husband Paul, Thomas Farren - Mary Farren and John Farren. Grandchildren Kylie Byrne her husband Patrick, Kristen LaMonica her husband Robert, Lauren Farren, Jack Farren, Nicole Farren, Tara Hally, DaryleLaMonica his Wife Donna, Traci LaMonica, Tina Roche her husband Chris, and Devin LaMonica. Catherine also leaves behind 20 great-grandchildren and extended loved ones. She dedicated her life to raising and providing care to many members of her family. Her love and kindness will be greatly missed. May she rest in peace.

Visitation in the Wm. F.  Spencer Funeral Home at 575 East Broadway, South Boston, MA 02127 on Monday February 12, 2024, from 10 - 11 AM. Catherine's Funeral Mass will be held at Gate of Heaven Church at 11:30 AM. The interment will  be private. Relatives and Friends kindly invited.
