LATNER, Betty

Age 87, of Brookline, former wife and dear friend of Sandy Latner, passed away unexpectedly on July 4. She was surrounded by her beloved family, daughter Nancy Latner and her husband John McLellan, and daughter Cathy Latner.  Betty will be remembered as a loving mother and friend, great tennis player, enthusiastic joke teller, avid gardener and bridge player, and humanitarian who cared deeply about social and economic justice. Memorial service will be July 31 at 2pm at First Parish of Watertown, 35 Church Street, Watertown.  In lieu of flowers, a donation to Planned Parenthood or Public Citizen is appreciated.
