Barbara W. Paget of Indianapolis, IN/ Saint George Island, FL, passed away November 8 at 87 years old from an extended lung infection.
Barbara was born in New Jersey and after graduating from Douglas College (Rutgers University) Barbara extended her education to a masters in mathematics at Purdue University where she met and married Charles Paget, Jr. Barbara and Chuck eventually settled in Indianapolis where they went on to raise three sons, Charles III (MD), Doug (MD), and Steven (PhD) and she became deeply involved in their education and the community. Her nine grandchildren also gave her great joy and she was incredibly involved grandmother, willing to get a full face-painting from her granddaughter, attend innumerable soccer games, and welcome them into her home to whisk them away from their parents. She is remembered for her amazing talents and love for her family. Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Chuck, her three sons and their wives (Bonnie, Cheryl, and Kathleen), her grandchildren Julia, Claire, Alec, Zach, Seth, Nathan, Joel, Christian and Luke and her sisters, Pat White and Carol Hagemann-White.
